Kerry’s first piece for juice, the trio of which she is a member. It was inspired by the first vocal sound you hear on the track, influenced by Meredith Monk’s writing and Central African Pygymy vocal polyphony. It sets the translation of a Japanese court poem, a tanka about the moon, in the middle. It is abstractly about madness, cuckoos, and moons.
